Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is the Implementation of Internal Control in the Pharmacy Installation of RSUD Prof.DR.W.Z.Johannes Kupang and how to plan the use of Optimal Infusion Type Disposable Medical Devices Using the EOQ Method, Safety Stock, and Reorder Points. The purpose of this research is to study the Application of Internal Control in the Pharmacy Installation of RSUD Prof.DR.W.Z.Johannes Kupang and study the planning of procurement of Optimal Infusion Type Medical Devices Using the EOQ Method, Safety Stock, and Reorder Points. Analysis Techniques Data used in this study is to use qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis with interview methods and documentation approved by no-control internal control and procurement of medical devices so as to use the type of infusion. The results of the study show: 1. In the implementation, Internal Control, which is recognized from the organizational structure, which is responsible for the tasks performed well, it is related to the concurrent assignment, authorization system and recording procedures that are regulated in accordance with the applicable procedures . Judging from healthy practice, it has been carried out with both presentations on usage with printed serial numbers, sudden checks on the use of medical equipment, use of rotation, and the use of automatic attendance systems. Judging from competent employees, it appears in the recruitment of employees that the selection is determined and interviewed and their educational background is selected. 2. In the calculation using the EOQ method, it is obtained that the total cost of procurement of medical devices used for the type of infusion calculated based on EOQ is less than that issued by the hospital. Total EOQ of Rp. 2,498,098.14. While the total cost according to the hospital is Rp. 8,900,611.4. Then the hospital can add to the preparation costs by a total of Rp. 6,402,513.26 hospitals used the EOQ method in providing infuse-type medical devices. In order for internal control to run well, it is recommended that competent assignments and approvals be needed so that there is no duplication of tasks in the organizational structure. And about ordering using the EOQ method, get the number of ordering medical devices that can be used.
