Abstract

The author's reason for choosing this title: Because the authors saw an increase in demand for chicken pieces from year to year, eventually the author was interested in researching with this title. The purpose of this research is 1) to know the variable of income, price, the price of other goods simultaneously and significantly against the demand for chicken meat cut in the Old Town district Oeba market. 2) to know the income variable, price, the price of other goods partially and significantly against the demand of chicken meat cut in the Old Town district Oeba Market. 3) to know the development price of chicken meat cut at Pasar Oeba District Lama. This research uses quantitative Data, the type of data that can be measured or calculated directly, in the form of information or explanations expressed by numbers or in the form of numbers. The Data sources used in this study are primary Data sources of research data obtained directly from the original (not through intermediaries). There are 30 samples in this study then processed using Eviews 10 and analyzed by using a regression model and inferential statistics with four Tests i.e. 1) classic assumption Test 2) Double linear regression analysis 3) hypothesis Test 4) Coefficient of determination analysis. Results of the research obtained: variable income, chicken price cut, the price of other goods, the simultaneous effect on the request chicken cut in the market Oeba Kota Lama District. Chicken cut prices, partial negative and significant effect on chicken cut request. While the revenue variable, partially influential positive and significant to the chicken crop request variable. The price of other goods, partially positive and insignificant to the variable request chicken cut at Pasar Oeba District Kota Lama. Oeba Market has a very big influence for the people of Kupang City because of the various results of the earth and sea catch traded in this place at a relatively low price. With the result coefficient of determination Goodness of fit TESR of 0.955958 or 95.59% dependent variables (Demand chicken cut) are able to be described by independent income variables( X1), Chicken Chop Price ( X2), Price of other goods ( X3). While the remaining 4,41% is described by other variables not incorporated into this study.
