Abstract

The type of cooperative learning through STAD is one of the type of learning method through a small group that consist of 4-5 heterogeneity students. The main problem in the research is how to reach the result of teaching the static fluid for the eleventh grade students of Science of SMAN 2 Kupang during the academic year of 2012/2013 by using the STAD type? Specifically, this research is aimed at describing some main problems namely as follows: (1). How is the ability of the teacher in managing the teaching process by using the cooperative teaching model STAD type on static fluid for the eleventh grade students of science 3 SMAN 2 Kupang during the academic year of 2012/2013? (2). How is the cooperative skill of the eleventh grade students of science 3 SMAN 2 Kupang in the academic year of 2012/2013 in the teaching of the static fluid by using or implementing the cooperative teaching model STAD type? (3) How is the achievement of the learning result indicator of the students in the teaching of static fluid for the eleventh grade students of science 3 of SMAN 2 Kupang in the academic year of 2012/2013? (4) How is achievement of the maximum learning result for the eleventh grade students of science 3 of SMAN 2 Kupang in the teaching of static fluid by using the STAD type of cooperative teaching model during the academic year of 2012/2013? 5). How is the response of the students on the implementation of the cooperative teaching model STAD type in the teaching of static fluid for the eleventh grade students of science of SMAN 2 Kupang in the academic year of 2012/2013? Generlly, this research is aimed at describing the result of the cooperative teaching model STAD type in the teaching of static fluid for the eleventh grade students of science 3 of SMAN 3 Kupang during the academic year of 2012/2013. Specifically, this research was carried out to gain some aims as follows: (1) To describe the ability of the teachers in the teaching the static fluid for the science 3 students of grade eleven in SMAN 2 Kupang during the academic year of 2012/2013 by implementing the STAD type of the cooperative teaching model. (2) To describe the cooperative skill of the students by implementing the STAD type of cooperative teaching model in the teaching of static fluid for the science 3 students of grade eleven in SMAN 2 Kupang during the year of 2012/2013. (3) To describe the achievement of learning result indicator of the students by implementing the STAD type of the cooperative teaching model in the teaching of the static fluid for the eleventh grade students of science 3 in SMAN 2 during the academic year of 2012/2013. (4) To describe the achievement of learning result of the students by the implementation of the STAD type of the cooperative teaching model in the teaching of the static fluid for the science 3 students of eleventh grade in SMAN 2 Kupang during the academic year of 2012/2013. (5) To describe the response of the students in the teaching of the static fluid for the eleventh grade students of science 3 in SMAN 2 Kupang during the academic year of 2012/2013 by the implantation of the cooperative teaching model STAD type. The type of the research is descriptive research and the subjects in the research are teacher (researcher) and 36 second year students of science 3 at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in academic year 2012/2013. The program that used is (BAPD), Syllabus, Lesson plan (RPP), (LKPD), Kisi-Kisi, and (THB). The techniques of the datas complitation used by the writer research are: observation sheet, students cooperative skill observation, test, and questioner. The instrument that used in the research are management observation sheet, students’ cooperative skill observation sheet, (THB) and students’ response form. The data analyze technique in this research is descriptive analyzed by calculate the score average, percentage and proposition. Based on the result of descriptive statistic research datas, the implementation of cooperative teaching model STAD type is good and acceptable to use in teaching the static fluid for the 36 eleventh grade students of science 3 in SMAN 2 Kupang. In detail, the writer concludes that (1) The ability of the teacher in managing the teaching and learning activity by the implemtattion the cooperative teaching model STAD type included the planning teaching programe, the planning of teaching evaluation and teaching activity is good and acceptable 2) The cooperative skill of the students in doing task, teaching past in dividing task, motivating the participation, activcly listening and making question and answer are on the effectiveness criterio level. (3) The indicator of learning result (product, affective, and psychomotor) prepared is mostly complete. (4) Most of learning result of the students (product, affective, and psychomotor) are achived. (5) The response of the students on the teaching and learning activity included: pre activity, whilest activity, post activity, time management, and classroom situation are all on the best category.
