Abstract

The prevalence of hepatitis in the province of East Nusa Tenggara in 2013 of 4.3% ranks top among all provinces in Indonesia. One reason is the lack of public knowledge about hepatitis including symptoms and prevention. One way to prevent hepatitis disease is through the provision of information and learning would risk factors of hepatitis disease. How to provide complete information about hepatitis can be done through the computer-based multimedia applications. Of the existing problems, engineered a system of "aplication-based multimedia information hepatitis". For this application design, use software with Macromedia Flash 8 ActionScript 2.0 programming language. The design method used in this research is the collection of data and multimedia development stage with several stages of the concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. Application information hepatitis disease is expected to assist the public in recognizing hepatitis.
