Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of use GeoGebra with the setting of Discovery Learning on learning achievement mathematics class VIII SMPK Santo Yoseph Kupang. Research methods used is an experimental method with one-group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study were students of class VIII-C, numbered 30 students. The data used in this study are data on the value of the pretest and posttest of the experimental class using GeoGebra with the setting of Discovery Learning. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS version 22.0 program. Before testing the hypothesis, a prerequisite test was carried out, namely the normality test for the pretest and posttest. From the results of the pretest data analysis the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and D_count = 0.185 0.05 and D_count = 0.105 t_table = 0.045. then it can be concluded reject H_0 and accept H_a, which means that there is a significant influence on the use of GeoGebra with the setting of Discovery Learning on mathematics learning achievement of class VIII SMPK St. Yoseph Kupang. These results indicate that the use GeoGebra with settings of Discovery Learning influences learning achievement in mathematics. Therefore, the authors suggest for teachers and students to use GeoGebra to help the process of learning mathematics and improve quality classroom learning.
