Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning type think talk write model on the ability of mathematical understanding in junior high school students on the subject of Class VII Linear Variable Equations class VII Middle School N 6 Middle School 2018/2019. The sample of this study were students of class VII A who were taught using the cooperative learning model think talk write type with the number of students 21 people. The data used in this study were pretest and posttest. Data analysis includes test data prerequisites, data analysis and hypothesis testing. Data prerequisite test used is normality test, t test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the think talk write type cooperative learning model on the ability of mathematical understanding in junior high school students.
