Abstract
The rank is a position which indicates the level of a civil servant based on his position in a series of personnel arrangements, whereas a Structural position is the rank of a position which indicates the duty, responsibility, authority and right of a civil servant. In order to improve the orderliness of administration and service quality should be supported by handling promotion given to civil servants as a form of appreciation for achievement and dedication of employees. Performance of employees is quite influential in improving services in the agency itself. Likewise happened to Kupang Mayor Office Development Economic Section NTT Province To assist in the determination of a person eligible or inappropriate in promotion, a decision support system is needed. One method that supports a decision support system in finding the best alternative is using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method.To help determine a person's worth it or not like in the promotion, it takes a support system keputusan. salah the methods that supports a decision support system in finding the best alternative by using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The system to be built aims to the decision-making process of achieving employees at the Mayor's Office of Kupang Economic Development Section of NTT Province, Providing assessments based on existing criteria so as to obtain more objective decisions.
