Abstract

This research aims to know implementation of learning with problem posing learning, and to know students achievement in mathematics learning and to knowthe effect of problem posing learning on achievement mathematics learning students for topic discussion algebra limit function in class XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang City academic year 2017/2018. This research was a descriptif kuantitatif study with the one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research is students class XI MIA 5 which the numbered of students are 40 people. The instrument used including an achievement test and observation shit. Data used in this research are pretest and posttest value data from experiment class with problem posing learning. The data obtained will analysed using SPSS program 22.0 version. The test was analysed by normality test with using one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov and hypothesis testing using paired sample test, after the data were analysed obtained value Sig.(2-tailed)= 0,000< 0,05and t = 17,439 > 2,023 = t. The result of this research are: (1) implementation of learning with problem posing learning in class XI MIA 5 have very good category; (2) students achievement mathematics learning after with used learning problem posing learning have good categories; (3) that there significant effect problem posing learning onachievement mathematics learning student for topic discussion algebra limit function in class XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang City academic year 2017/2018. Therefore, the authors suggest for teachers to used the problem posing learning was in the class according to the teaching material.
