Abstract
Contextual approach is the concept of learning in which educators bring the real world into the classroom and encourage students to make connections between knowledge possessed by its application in everyday life, while learners acquire knowledge and skills in the context of limited, piecemeal, and from the process of constructing its own, in preparation to solve problems in life as members of society. The main problem in this research is how the result of applying the contextual approach the subject matter of the senses of sight and optical devices on the students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 8 Kupang.Secara specific problem in this research are: 1) What about the ability of educators to manage learning to apply the material Contextual Approach Indera principal Vision and Optical learners K class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Kupang? 2) How does the study of students in learning that applying a contextual approach to the subject matter of the Senses of Sight and optical equipment in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 K Kupang? 3) How to Complete Learning Outcomes Indicators (IHB) learners in learning to apply the contextual approach to the subject matter of sensory vision and optical equipment in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 K Kupang? 4) How is the response of students to learning by applying the subject matter Indera Contextual Approach Vision and optical equipment in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 K Kupang? The general objective of this research is: Describe Results of Learning by applying a contextual approach Indera Main Material Vision and optical equipment at Eighth Grade Students of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang.Secara detailed research objectives are: 1) to describe the ability of educators to manage learning material applying contextual approach Indera principal vision and optical equipment in Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 K Kupang. 2) Describe the learning outcomes of students in learning the subject matter applying contextual approach Indera vision and optical equipment in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 K Kupang. 3) Describe Mastery Learning Outcomes Indicators (IHB) learners in learning to apply a contextual approach and subject matter Sense of Sight optical equipment in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang.3 K) Describe the response of students to learning by applying a contextual approach to the subject matter Sense of Sight and optical equipment in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 K Kupang. This type of research is descriptive. Subjects in this study were teachers and students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 8 Kupang, totaling 26 people. The technique used and data collection are observation, tests and questionnaires. Learning device used in this study is the syllabus, lesson plan, teaching materials learners, learners Work sheets and lattice achievement test. while the instrument used in this study is the observation sheet contextual approach to managing learning, test results of learners, learner response spreadsheet. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis can be concluded that the application of contextual approach the subject matter of the Senses of Sight and optical devices on the students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 8 Kupang second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year is optimal.
