Abstract

Motivation is one of the important factors that affect learning and learning outcomes. Someone who has the motivation mempunyi tendency to devote all his ability to get the optimal learning results in accordance with the expected goals. The higher the motivai owned learners will encourage students to be more active and increased learning motivation that increase learning outcomes. However, strong dn weak motivation everyone is different, it is affected by factors ideals or aspirations, ability to learn, learners conditions, environmental conditions learners, dynamic elements in learning and efforts of teachers in teaching learners. Discovery Learning Model application of a concept study concept study in which educators mrndorong learners to engage more actively and creatively to create situations that can make students actively learn and discover their own knowledge. The problems are examined in this study are: 1) How is the ability of teachers to manage learning by applying the Discovery Learning approach the subject matter of the heat and the displacement learners E class VII SMP Negeri 13 Kupang? 2) How completeness indicator of learning with Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang? 3) How mastery learning outcomes of students in learning by applying Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang? 4) How is the motivation of learners Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang? 5) Is there a significant relationship between learning motivation towards the study of students in the application of Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang? The objectives of this research are: 1) to describe the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang school year 2015/2016. 2) Describe the completeness of the indicator in learning by applying Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang. 3) Describe the thoroughness of the study of students in learning by applying Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang. 4) Knowing the motivation of learners Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang. 5) Determine whether there is influence learning motivation towards the study of students in the application of Discovery Learning approach to the material for heat and perpindahannyapeserta students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang. Based on data analysis: 1) The ability of teachers to manage the implementation of learning in learning activities with Discovery Learning approach bearada in both categories with a total average score of 3.613 planning, execution total score of 3.71 and a total evaluation score of 3.73. 2). Indicators of learning outcomes in the process of science learning in the subject matter Heat and The move by Discovery Learning approach everything completed with a total average proportion of indicators of learning outcomes spiritual attitudes of 0.92, the average proportion of the total learning outcome social attitudes 0.134, the average total 0.133 cognitive learning outcomes and total average proportion of 0.91 psychomotor learning outcomes. 3) The results of study of students of class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang in the process of science learning in the subject matter Heat and The move by applying Approach Discovery Learning all finished with a total average proportion of learning outcomes spiritual attitudes, learning outcomes social attitudes, learning outcomes affective and psychomotor learning outcomes is 0.137. 4) Motivation of learners class VII N 13 Kupang are in a very strong category with an average gain of scores obtained 134.9%. 5) There is a positive and significant influence learning motivation towards the study of students in the application of Discovery Learning approach to material heat and the displacement of students of Class VII E SMP N 13 Kupang. Motivational variables studied in this research contributes to the learning outcomes of 24.3%.
