Abstract

Discovery learning is a model for developing active learners learn how to find their own, investigating itself, the results obtained will be loyal and long-lasting in memory, Akana is not easily forgotten learners. The problems in the research are: 1) how is the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the model of discovery learning subject matter and its amendment Temperature class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016?; 2) How is the completeness indicator learning outcomes in learning to apply Discovery Learning Model Learning subject matter temperature and amendment of class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016?; 3) How is the study of students in learning that applying Discovery Learning Model learnig subject matter of temperature and changes of class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016?; 4) How is the motivation of learners class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016?; 5) Is there a significant relationship between learning motivation towards the study of students who apply learning models Temperature Discovery Learning subject matter and its amendment SMPK class VIIB St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016?. This study aims to determine the result of the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes in learning model application discovery learning. Specifically of interest in this study were 1) to describe the teacher's ability to manage the learning activities by applying the discovery learning Learning Model Temperatures subject matter and its amendment SMPK class VIIB St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016; 2) Describe the completeness indicator learning outcomes in learning to apply Discovery Learning Learning Model The change of temperature and subject matter of class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016; 3) Mendeskrispsikan learning outcomes of students in learning that applying Discovery Learning Model learnig Temperatures subject matter and pe r ubahannya class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016; 4) describe the motivation of learners class VII B SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016; 5) Describe the significant relationship between learning motivation towards the study of students who apply learning models Temperature Discovery Learning subject matter and its amendment SMPK class VIIB St. Familia Sikumana Kupang Semester Academic Year 2015/2016. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The population in this study were students of class VII SMPK St. Familia and its samples are students of class VIIB SMPK St. Familia Sikumana Kupang 2015/2016 school year totaling 30 people. Learning device used a dalah Students Teaching Materials, Lesson Plans, Worksheets Students, Sheets Discussion of Students, grille and Tests Learning Outcomes. Research data collection techniques are observation, tests and questionnaires. While the instruments used in this study is the observation sheet that implement learning management learning model Temperature Discovery Learning subject matter and its amendment, achievement test (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) and form questionnaire motivation of learners. The study design used is descriptive One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign. The results showed that 1) The ability of teachers to manage learning by applying the learning model of discovery learning in students of class VIIB SMPK Santa Familia Sikumana Kupang is good with the acquisition the average score in a row for the planning stage of learning, the implementation phase of learning and evaluation phase of learning is 3, 96; 3.94 and 4.00 are in both categories. 2) Indicators learning outcomes of students all finished in learning activities by applying the learning model of discovery learning in students of class VIIB SMPK Santa Familia Sikumana Kupang with an average proportion of completeness to the outcome indicators 0.90 cognitive learning, affective learning results indicators divided into two aspects: on the spiritual aspects of 0.99 and 0.99 for the scientific aspects, fund psychomotor learning outcomes indicators 0.99. In the category completely. 3) Results of learners by applying the learning model of discovery learning students of class VIIB SMPK Santa Familia Sikumana Kupang is completed with an average proportion of 0.89 cognitive achievement test, the test results of affective (spiritual 0, 99 and scientific 0.99) and psychomotor 0.99, in the category completely. 4) learning motivation of students of class VIIB SMPK Santa Familia Sikumana Kupang strong categorized. 5) There is a significant relationship between learning motivation towards learning outcomes, seen from the value th > tt, is 2,366 2,048, and large percentage motivation of learning outcomes is 16, 7%. This value is obtained by using SPSS
