Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Round Robin type of cooperative learning model on mathematics learning achievement of junior high school students. The sample in this study was class VIII students, amounting to 30 people. The data used in this study were data on the value of the pretest and posttest of the Round Robin type of cooperative learning experimental class . The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS program version 22.0. before testing the hypothesis, a prerequisite test was carried out, namely the normality test for pretest data and posttest data . From the results of the analysis for the pretest data, the value of A symp.sig (2-tailed)= and = , thus concluded data is normally distributed. While the posttest data is obtained by the value of A symp.Sig. (2 - tailed) = dan = , thus concluded data is normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using a paired sample test, after the analyzed data obtained grades that dan , so it was concluded that there was a significant effect of the Round Robin type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning achievement. The results of this study indicate that the Round Robin cooperative learning model influences students' mathematics learning achievement. Therefore, the authors suggest that teachers use Round Robin type of cooperative learning in class learning according to the material to be taught.
