Abstract

The main problem in these research in how the “Application of Cooperative Learning Model Type STAD with main matter Vibration and Waves on VIIIB in even semester, Academic Year 2018/2019 at SMPN 11 Kupang ?”. Specially, the problem in this research are : 1) How is the ability of teacher to manage learning procces by applying cooperative learning model type STAD ? 2) How is cooperative skills of students of in learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model type STAD ? 3) How completeness of learning outcomes indicators in learning by applying cooperative learning model type of STAD ? 4) How completeness of learning outcomes by implementing the cooperative learning model type of STAD ? 5) How is the respons of student to the learnig activities by applying cooperative learning model type of STAD ? Based on formulation of the problems above, the aim to be achieved in these research is “ To Describe the Results Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Type Of STAD with main matter about the Vibration and Waves on Students of VIIIB in Even Semester Year Academic 2018/2019 at SMPN 11 Kupang’’. Specially, the purpose these research are : 1) To describe the ability of teacher to manage learning procces by applying cooperative learning model type STAD. 2) Describing the cooperative skills of students of in learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model type STAD. 3) Describing the completeness of learning outcomes indicators in learning by applying cooperative learning model type of STAD. 4) Describing the completeness of learning outcomes by implementing the cooperative learning model type of STAD. 5) Describing the respons of student to the learnig activities by applying cooperative learning model type of STAD. This is a descriptive research. The subject of the research are students of class VIIIB even semester at SMPN 11 Kupang as much 23 person. To collect the data, the research used these techniques are observation, test and questionnaire. For the instrument, the research used Teaching and Learning Management Observation Sheet, the Student Learning Result, the Students Cooperative Skill Observation Sheet and Students Respons Form. The research then made a descriptive analysis which includel computation of average score, proportion and percentage. From the results of descriptive analysis shows that the ability of teacher to manage learning model type STAD in main matter about the Vibration and Waves on students grade VIIIB of SMPN 11 Kupang which include : lesson planning, implementation of learning and learning evaluation are in a good category with average scores respectively are : 3,67; 3,71; dan 3,59. Cooperative Skill of the students all on the effectiveness limits that specified. Fourteen indicators of learning outcomes that have been prepared are all achieved with an average proportion of ≥ 0,70 reaching 0,76. Student learning outcomes all achieved with an average of 0,33 proportion of correct answer on the pretest, increase to 0,76 the final test. Student respons to be STAD of cooperative learning model is very good, since average percentage of the four aspects is in the range of assesment (81-100 %) is 94,21 %. From the description above, sthen can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type STAD can be applied optimally to VIIIB grade students of SMPN 11 Kupang with main matter the Vibration and Waves.
