Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to find out the general description of public roadside parking fees in Kupang City, (2) to find out how much the public roadside parking fees contribute to the total regional fees for Kupang City and (3) to find out the effectiveness of side parking fees kupang city public road. This study uses quantitative data types, namely the type of data presented in the form of numbers or numbers from the results of calculations and measurements such as data on public roadside parking retribution receipts and supported by regional levy receipts data. The source of the data in this study was secondary data from the Kupang City Transportation Service and the Kupang City Revenue Service. The data used in this study are in the form of target report data and the realization of public roadside parking fees for the City of Kupang and are supported by data on the realization of regional user charges for the City of Kupang. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive quantitative which includes: an analysis of the contribution of public roadside parking fees to the total regional fees and an analysis of the effectiveness of public roadside parking fees in Kupang City. The results of the study: (1) General Description of Public Parking Roadside Retribution in the City of Kupang, in general, often experiences changes, both in terms of increase or decrease (fluctuation). The contribution of public roadside parking fees for the City of Kupang is only around 0.00-10% with the criteria of very little contribution to the total regional retribution for the city of Kupang. In 2017 public roadside parking fees contributed 0.16%, in 2018 contributed 0.18%, in 2019 contributed 0.20%, and in 2020 contributed 0.10%. While the level of effectiveness of public road parking fees in Kupang City ranges from 60-80% -> 100%. In 2017 it was included in the effective category because the mixture content ranged from 90-100%, in 2018 it was included in the very effective category because the mixture content ranged from > 100%, and in 2019-2020 it was included in the less effective category because the poison content ranged from 60-80 %. (2) The contribution of public roadside parking fees for the City of Kupang is only around 0.00-10% with corrections that contribute very little to the total regional fees for the city of Kupang. In 2017 public roadside parking fees contributed 0.16%, in 2018 contributed 0.18%, in 2019 contributed 0.20%, and in 2020 contributed 0.10%. (3) The effectiveness of Kupang City Public Roadside Parking Retribution ranges from 60-80%- >100%. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for the local government of Kupang City, in this case the Kupang City Transportation Service, to always carry out supervision and always carry out continuous evaluations so that it has a good impact on the targets that will be set in the coming year.
