Abstract

The aims of this research are 1). To determine the effect of economic growth, inflation and the minimum wage partially on the unemployment rate in East Nusa Tenggara Province. 2). To determine the effect of economic growth, inflation, and the minimum wage simultaneously on the unemployment rate in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The data used in this research are data on Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and Unemployment Rate in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara 2001-2020. Analysis of the data in this study using multiple linear regression model. Hypothesis testing using partial testing (t test), Simultaneous (F test), and the coefficient of determination test (R2). This study uses Eviews 12 software as an estimation tool. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) The results of the t-test on the variable Economic Growth (X1) obtained a probability value of 0.0088. Prob value. < 0.05 (0.001697 < 0.05), then the decision is Ha is accepted. The conclusion has a significant effect, meaning that Economic Growth, Inflation, and the Minimum Wage simultaneously have a significant effect on the unemployment rate.
