Abstract

The thesis entitled “The Effect of Aset Management on the Optimization of Regional Aset Management with Aset Supervision and Controlling as Intervening Variables at NTT Province Government” is written by Arifin Reg. No. 811220100, under the supervision of Dr. M. E. Perseveranda, SE., M.Si and Dr. Simon Sia Niha, SE., M.Si. This study aims to know: 1) The description of the level of inventory aset, legal audit, aset evaluation, aset supervision and controlling, and optimization of aset management at NTT Province Government; 2) the significance of effect of aset inventory, legal audit, aset evaluation on the aset supervision and controlling; 3) the significance of effect of aset inventory, legal audit, aset evaluation, and aset supervision and controlling on aset management optimization; 4) the significance of effect of aset supervision and controlling in mediating the effect of aset inventory, legal audit, and aset evaluation on the aset management optimization at NTT Province Government. The sample in this research is 178 employees at NTT Province Government. The collected data are analyzed using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic applying Smart PLS. The results of descriptive statistic analysis indicate that the aset inventory is categorized as pretty good, legal audit is good, aset evaluation is pretty good, aset supervision and controlling are pretty good, and aset management optimization is good. The results of inferential statistic show that aset inventory has a significant effect on aset supervision and controlling, legal audit has a significant effect on aset supervision and controlling, aset evaluation, legal audit has a significant effect on aset supervision and controlling, aset evaluation has a significant effect on aset supervision and controlling. The aset supervision and controlling are able to mediate the effect of aset inventory, legal audit and aset evaluation on the aset management optimization. Based on these results, it isrecommended to pay attentionto aset inventory, legal audit, aset evaluation, aset supervision and controlling, and aset management optimization. It is needed to enhance human resources to be able to apply information system planning for further development.
