Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is, 1) What is the description of the income of fried food traders in the Kota Lama District area, Kota Kupang. 2) What is the effect of price and capital on income partially and simultaneously on the income of fried food traders in Kota Lama District, Kupang City. The purpose of this study is 1). To find out the income description of fried food traders in Kota Lama District. 2) To determine the effect of price and capital partially on the income of fried food traders in Kota Lama District, Kupang City. 3) To determine the effect of price and capital simultaneously on the income of fried food traders in Kota Lama district, Kota Kupang. This study uses quantitative data types because in its implementation it includes data, analysis and interpretation of the meaning of the data obtained, the data source used is primary data using a list of questions (questionnaire). There were 30 respondents who became the sample in this study and then analyzed using inferential statistical analysis techniques with four tests, namely multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that the average income of fried food traders in Kota Lama Subdistrict from 30 respondents in one day was Rp. 605,834. Price has a significant effect on the income of fried food traders in Kota Lama District, Capital has no significant effect on the income of fried traders in Kota Lama District. Simultaneously the price and capital variables have a positive and significant effect on the income of fried food traders in Kota Lama District. Suggestions for fried food traders to pay attention to the quality of sales and also the cleanliness of the place to sell so that the hygiene of the snacks is maintained. For the government to be able to facilitate MSME actors in accessing capital to support MSME businesses.
