Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study are 1) Do land area, capital and selling price have a partial effect on the income of lowland rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat?; 2) Do land area, capital and selling price have a simultaneous effect on the income of lowland rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat?. The research objectives are 1) To analyze whether land area, capital and selling price have a partial effect on the income of lowland rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat, 2) Whether land area, capital and selling price have a simultaneous effect on the income of lowland rice farmers. in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative with data collection methods through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study partially obtained the land area variable (X1) with t count of -8.280, capital variable (X2) with t count of 8.029 has a positive and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat and the selling price variable. (X3) with a t count of -1.618 has no positive and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat. Simultaneously, the variables of land area (X1), mode (X2) and selling price (X3) have an effect on the income of lowland rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat with a calculated f value of 27,04 The partial conclusion is that the variables of land area, capital have a significant and positive effect on the income of rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo sub-district, West Manggarai Regency and selling prices have no significant and positive effect on the income of rice farmers in Pantar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Barat. Based on the above research, it is expected that 1) Lowland rice farmers are advised to be able to maintain land area, the capital issued is expected to be able to increase production yields and be proportional to farmers' income so that the capital issued does not suppress the income obtained by farmers and is able to process the results from production so that it has a selling value. which is higher, 2) Lowland rice farmers' income which is influenced by land area, capital and selling price is expected to get attention from the government to provide subsidies to farmers such as subsidies on fertilizers, so that fertilizer prices are reduced and reduce the price of farmers' production costs.
