Abstract

This reseach is entited: Village Government Performance in Serving the Community in Pantae Village, South Biboki District, North Central Timor District. The formulation of the problem raised is: How is the Performance of the Village Government in Serving the Community in Pantae Village, South Biboki District, North Central Timor Regency. The concept used in this paper uses Public Service Theory. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The sample is determined using a purposive technique. Sources of data from this study were taken from interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively to explain the performance of the village government in serving the community. The variable examined in this study is the village government’s performance in serving the community. What is meant by the performance of the village government in serving the community is to find the performance of the village government in realizing the need for community services in Pantae village which consists of 3 aspec ts, namely Administrative Services, Goods Services, and Service Services. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the performance of the village government in service is going well. There are 3 variable studied, namely Administrative Services, Goods Services, and Services, with government services covering 3 aspects, namely administrative services, goods services, and services. The administrative services indicatorsa are in the form of family cards, identity cards, dimicile and resient certificates, and birth and death certificates. In terms of goods service indicators, the opening of village roads/always, the construction of heealthy latrines for the population, as well as village water and irrigatioon networks. Whereas the service indicators are in the form of a certificate of incapacity for shcool-age children, a certificate of incapacity for families who are unable to carry out health care. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be recommended to the Pantae village government to provide services the local community in order to further fulfill the needs of community services. As for the Village Government, by making regulations that must be obeyed by village government officials, so that the local community needs services in making correspondence smoothly and precisely at the tme needed.
