Abstract

Malacca Regency is one of the regencies in the province of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The capital city is Betun. Being a new district, it certainly doesn't have many facilities such as a leadership office, which is certainly an obstacle for the government in providing these facilities. DPRD is one of the institutions that represent all levels of society in government, the activities carried out by DPRD are absorbing people's aspirations. Presenting the DPRD office in Malacca Regency is one of the public service facilities in democracy and realizing the progress of an area. The design approach is one form of design that examines the form of order in a concept that provides a theme in architectural design. Design methods in design Architectural transformation is a form of design approach that combines local and modern architectural styles which become a new form. To achieve a design form that is in accordance with the concept of Vernacular Architecture Transformation in accordance with the traditional architecture of the Malacca Regency by presenting traditional architectural forms in the design of the DPRD Office
