Abstract
This thesis is entitled "Effectiveness of Employee Work in East Lewoleba Village, Nubatukan District, Lembata Regency". The formulation of the problem contained in writing this thesis is how effective the work of employees in East Lewoleba Village. The theory used by the author to be able to solve existing problems is to use the theory of work effectiveness. The method used by the author is to use descriptive research methods. The data sources obtained include two data sources, namely primary data sources obtained through informants while secondary data sources are obtained through documents related to research variables. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation. The results showed that the effectiveness of employee work in East Lewoleba Village has not been carried out optimally, which can be seen from several aspects; (1) Accuracy and tidiness of work, in the service of making correspondence has run as it should, only with the ability of officials who do not understand technology (computers) so as to cause frequent errors in the process of making correspondence needed by the community. (2) accuracy and speed in completing the work, where every problem resolution complained by the community is successfully solved but there are also those that cannot be solved such as very complicated land problems and the level of apparatus resources that are still very low which is the cause of the slow resolution of existing problems, besides that every proposal proposed in the musrembang is not successfully implemented due to the lack of budget awarded from the subdistrict level. (3) the number of work plans that can be completed, in daily life officials in East Lewoleba Village always do the usual work such as making correspondence that the community wants, taking care of land issues, and other problems. As for the work program contained in the musrembang, only three (3) programs have been successfully run so far, the others have not been implemented. (4) discipline in carrying out every order, the level of discipline of officers during hours in and out of the office is very minimal, there are many officers who like and want to enter and leave the office do not follow the applicable rules. The advice given is; 1) it should be necessary to conduct training for officials who do not understand the use of compter (2) Every officer in East Lewoleba Village must further increase the level of discipline during the hours of entry and exit of the office.
