Abstract

This research is entitled: Oversight of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Organizing Village Government in Haitimuk Village, Weliman District, Malacca Regency for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year. The problem raised is: How is the Supervision of the Village Consultative Body in Organizing Village Government in Haitimuk Village, Weliman District, Malacca Regency for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year. The aim is to describe how the Supervision of the Village Consultative Body in Organizing Village Government in Haitimuk Village, Weliman District, Malacca Regency for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, so that the writer can describe and explain the data as a whole with words or statements and then draw conclusions. In testing the validity of the data, qualitative research methods are different from quantitative methods. In data analysis, the research conducted data analysis that combined various data collection techniques, such as interviews, documentation, and existing data sources to draw conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that BPD is an embodiment of democracy in administering village government, accommodating and channeling community aspirations, and besides that the role of BPD is as a partner by supervising village work programs carried out together with the Village Head so that village development can be carried out and completed in a timely manner. both in accordance with the Village Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMDes), and the Village Development Work Plan (RKPDes) as well as establishing village rules with the Village Head. From the concluded results it is recommended that BPD supervision in organizing village government in Haitimuk Village, Weliman District, Malacca Regency, can open up space for BPD to be more involved in village government supervision in accordance with what has been mandated.
