Abstract

This research was written by Adrian Fortuna Hany (31117080) Development Economics Study Program under the guidance of Advisor I Brother Salomom Leki, SE., M.Ec.Dev and Advisor II Ms. Enike TY Dima , SE, ME with the research title “Village Fund Management In the Development of Naiola Village, South Bikomi District, North Central Timor Regency”. The objectives of this study were 1) To determine the process of managing village funds in Naiola Village, South Bikomi District, North Central Timor Regency 2) To determine the consistency of planning and budgeting in the implementation of development in Naiola Village, South Bikomi District, North Central Timor Regency. This study uses qualitative data, the data presented in the form of verbal data. Sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data is data directly collected by researchers as a support from the first source. The sample in this study is the main informant consisting of village heads and village officials. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis, with steps of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the research conducted indicate that the process of managing village funds in Naiola Village, South Bikomi District, TTU Regency starts from the planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability processes. Based on the results of the interview explained that the planning, budgeting and implementation for the development of Naiola Village can be said to be consistent, because the planned program runs smoothly. The program is the provision of clean water and the construction of livable houses. With the results of this study, it is suggested to the central government that in the implementation of village fund management it must be better so that there are no obstacles that can hinder the ongoing activities that use village funds as sources of funds. The Naiola village government should increase knowledge and abilities in carrying out all Naiola Village development tasks and be able to work together with the local community in realizing all development programs that have been planned by the Village government.
