Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) What is the general description of the Economic Growth Rate, Inflation Rate, Unemployment Rate and Poverty Level in Kupang City? 2) What is the effect of the partial economic growth rate, inflation rate and unemployment rate in Kupang City? 3) What is the effect of the Economic Growth Rate, Inflation Rate and Unemployment Rate simultaneously on the poverty rate in Kupang City? The research objectives are 1) to find out the general description of the economic growth rate, inflation rate, unemployment rate and poverty rate in Kupang City 2) to determine the effect of economic growth rate, inflation rate and partial unemployment rate in Kupang City 3) to determine the effect of growth rate economy, inflation rate and unemployment rate simultaneously on the poverty rate in Kupang City. This study uses quantitative data types. The samples in this study are data on economic growth rates, inflation rates, unemployment rates and the level of poor people in Kupang City from 2007-2021. The results of this study indicate that the variable rate of economic growth shows a coefficient value of -0.061585 negligible 5% (t stat -0.582205 < 2.200) prob value. The economic growth rate (X1) is 0.5722 and the negligible is 0.05. Where the probability value is 0.5722> 0.05, there is partially no effect of the variable economic growth rate on the poverty rate in Kupang City. The inflation rate variable shows a coefficient value of 0.228869 or 5% (t stat 2.565378 > 2.200). The prob value of the inflation rate (X2) is 0.0263 and the prob value is 0.05 where the prob value is 0.0263 < 0.05, then partially there is an effect of the inflation rate on the level of inflation. poverty in Kupang City. The unemployment rate variable shows a coefficient value of 0.098130 negligent 5% (t stat 0.879239 < 2.200) with a prob value of the unemployment rate (X3) 0.03981 and 0.05. Where the prob value is 0.03981 < 0.05, then partially there is an effect of the unemployment rate on the poverty level in Kupang City. based on the calculation of the prob.0.0054 value, the economic growth rate, inflation rate and unemployment rate simultaneously affect the poverty rate.
