Abstract

This thesis is entitled Analysis of Political, Social and Economic Capital of the H2N Couple in Winning the 2020 Manggarai Pilkada A Case Study in Langke Rembong District. The theory used by researchers in solving research problems is political, social and economic capital. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Primary data sources are informants while secondary data are documents related to research variables. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stage was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing stage and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study show that political capital is marked by support from political parties through administrative support from the supporting political parties, namely PDIP, Golkar, Gerindra, Hanura, PKB and PKS in the form of decrees for determining as candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent from the DPP after going through the procedures and stages carried out by the DPP. The organizers of the Supporting Party from the structure of the DPC, DPD/DPW and DPP starting from the registration, selection, screening and determination process.the H2N is in the form of being directly involved in political campaignscarrying. The support of the success team is shown by the coordination and communication between the success teams to maintain and build cohesiveness in winning the H2N pair and strategies that rely on family culture. Social capital, marked by good interactions and reciprocal relationships between H2N Couples and the community in Langke Rembong District at funerals, weddings and wuat wai (school parties) makes people more familiar with H2N Couples so they can build a pattern of interaction. The political network of the H2N pair in facilitating campaigns so that they are able to invite, direct and mobilize voters so as to encourage the growth of trust through Laskar 88, Pemuda Pancasila and Weta-Weta De Hery Economic capital, marked by the existence of political funds used in political campaigns whose sources come from private funds and donors for the use of political party financing. Funding support as a driving force and lubricant for the political machine used by the H2N Pair amounted to Rp. 327,749,203.00 which was used for limited meetings, face-to-face meetings, making campaign props such as stickers, banners and billboards, consumption and witness fees. Based on the results of the analysis above, the authors conclude that Political Capital, Economic Capital and Social Capital will determine the victory of the H2N xix Pair in the 2020 Manggarai Regency Election in Langke Rembong District. The author suggests that researchers hope that the H2N Pair will be able to convince the public that the victory they have won is able to embrace all elements of society, whether they have voted for it or not.
