Abstract

SMAN 2 Kupang tru is one of the senior high schools (SMA) located on JL. Timor Raya KM. 33, Naibonat. East Kupang District. High school 2 it is one of the schools what have not used information systems in providing school information, it is still done manually, namely the school conducts socialization and interaction with the wider community such us school profiles, student data, lesson schedule information, data processing, SMAN 2 data is still stored in books or files in the form of Microsoft excel and Microsoft word without databases which are still very simple and have some shortcomings in data retrieval. The data used is data collection in the form of documents obtained directly from SMAN 2 Kupang Timur. In overcoming the existing problems, a school profile information system of SMAN 2 Kupang Timur is needed. The model used in designing the system development is the waterfall model. This system model is designed with a web-based approach that is implemented using XAMPP with the PHP program language and for its database using MySQL. The results of this study are an information system that is capable of processin, storing data properly and safely, facilitating the process of searching for data that has been stored in the database, and can provide output in the form of the required print result.
