Abstract

The purpose of this study was to 1) To find out student learning outcomes in learning that applied a scientific approach to chemical bonding material, 2) To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in the aspect of knowledge in learning that applied a scientific approach to chemical bonding material, 3) To find out the completeness of indicators aspects of knowledge and skills in learning that apply a scientific approach to chemical bond material, 4) To find out student responses in learning that apply a scientific approach to chemical bond material. Data collection techniques used were tests (Pretest-Posttest), Observations and Questionnaires. Based on data analysis from the results of this study, it was obtained 1) The learning outcomes of class X MIA students at SMA Negeri 3 Kupang Timur on chemical bonding material in learning that applied a scientific approach were declared complete with an average learning achievement score of 85. 2) Improved class student learning outcomes X SMA Negeri 3 Kupang Timur in the material of chemical bonds in learning that applies a scientific approach is classified in the medium category with an average value of N-gain 0.61. 3) The completeness of the indicators of learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect in the chemical bonding material for class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Kupang Timur in learning that applies a scientific approach is classified as complete with an average score of 0,85. 4) The response of class X MIA students of East Kupang 3 Public High School in learning that applies a scientific approach to chemical bonding material is classified in the strongly agree category with a percentage of 81%.
