Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the implementation of cooperative learning model type TAI in the class VIID students the subject matter of Substance and Its Form. This type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study were teachers (researchers) and students VIID class SMP Negeri 16 Kupang year lesson 2017/2018 which amounted to 30 learners. While the instrument used in this study is the Observation Sheet of Learning Management, Test Results Learning (cognitive, affective and psychomotor), Cooperative Skills Observation Sheet and Response Sheet Response Learners. Data collection techniques used are Observation, Test and Questionnaire Response Learners. Technique of analysis of research result that used is quantitative descriptive analysis include calculation of average score, proportion and percentage. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the research data shows that in general the application of cooperative learning model type TAI is good for the subject matter of Substance and its Form in the students of class VIID SMP Negeri 16 Kupang which amounted to 30 students. 1) The ability of teachers in managing learning activities by applying cooperative learning model type TAI which includes: learning device planning, learning evaluation planning and implementation of learning is included in both categories with the average score in a row are: 3.98; 3.93 and 4.00. 2) The cooperative skills of learners include: being on duty, taking turns and sharing tasks, encouraging participation, listening actively and asking or answering in general and the average score being within the defined effectiveness limits. 3) Indicators of Learning Outcomes (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) prepared largely due to the completion of complete completion 0.88, 0.88, 0.86 exceeds the criteria mastery ≥ 0.75. 4) Physics learning outcomes of students class VIID SMP Negeri 16 Kupang on the subject matter Substance and Form completely thorough and there is an increase in the proportion of correct answers from 0.08 to 0.92, while for affective aspects and psychomotor overall complete with the average proportion of each 0.96 each. 5) Student response to the implementation of learning by applying the model of cooperative learning type TAI obtained percentage which includes five aspects namely: 88.89% preliminary activities with very good category, 87.94% core activities with very good category, covering activities 85.33% with very good category, time management 82.67% with very good category and class atmosphere 86.33% with very good category. So the total average score obtained from the five aspects is 85.57% with very good category.
