Abstract

Title of thesis: Profile of prosocial behavior of class XI Social 2 students of SMAN 4 Kupang for the academic year 2022/2023 and its implications for social guidance programs. Problem formulation 1) What is the profile of the prosocial behavior of class XI Social 2 students at SMAN 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year? 2) What are the implications of the prosocial behavior profile of class XI Social 2 students of SMAN 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year, for the social guidance program? The purpose of this study was to find out, 1) The prosocial behavior profile of class XI Social students at SMAN 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year. 2) Implications of the prosocial behavior profile of class XI Social 2 students of SMAN 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year, for the social guidance program. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a data collection tool in the form of a prosocial behavior questionnaire. The sample for this study was all students of class XI Social 2 at SMAN 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of 30 students. The data analysis technique used is the central tendency analysis. The results of the research data analysis showed that the average score of students' prosocial behavior was 141.08. This score is in the range of 113-146, including the good category. The results of the analysis for each aspect show that the sharing aspect average score of 28.2333 is in the range of scores 23-29, including the good category, the cooperative aspect has an average score of 27 between the range of scores 23-29 including the good category, the aspect of helping an average score of 28 is in the range of scores 23-29 including the good category, the aspect of acting honestly the average score of 30 is between the range of scores 30-36 including the very good category and the aspect of giving an average score of 30 .5 is in the range of scores 30-36 including the very good category. Based on the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that students of class XI Social 2 SMAN 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 school year understand prosocial behavior well at school seen from the attitude of sharing, cooperation, helping, acting honestly and giving charity. According to the results of the study, the researcher provides suggestions to a) The school principal is expected to further enhance collaboration with counseling guidance teachers, facilitate and support social guidance services in schools so that they are carried out properly in order to maintain good prosocial behavior. b) Guidance and counseling teachers are expected to be able to design and develop social guidance programs that suit the needs of students to maintain good student prosocial behavior. c) Students are expected to be actively involved in participating in social guidance services organized by guidance and counseling teachers at school, so as to increase prosocial behavior.
