Abstract

An unsignalized intersection is a combination of two or more roads that are not equipped with a traffic signaling device, namely a traffic light. Jalan W. J Lalamentik, Jalan Souverdy and Jalan Amanuban are unsignalized intersections where traffic conflicts very often occur. Traffic conflicts that occur are the result of currents moving in different directions and meeting at the same meeting point. Factors that cause conflict on this road are triggered by the speed of the driver when passing the intersection. The Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) method is a method for increasing safety in traffic and is also a method for observing, by identifying accidents that almost occur using distance and speed. Based on the results of the analysis, the average speed was 10-20 km/hour and the distance traveled during the conflict was 1.0-1.5 m with the percentage of conflicts that occurred was 65% for Jalan W.J Lalamentik and Jalan Souverdy while for Jalan W. J Lalamentik and Jalan Amanuban, the average speed was 10-20 km/hour and the distance traveled during the conflict was 1.0-1.5 m with the percentage of conflicts that occurred was 43%.
