Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Evaluation of Community Economic Empowerment Programs through the Establishment of tie Weaving Group, Sandosi Village, Witihama District, East Flores Regency". This research was carried out in Sandosi Village with the problem raised was "How is the community economic empowerment program through the formation of ikat weaving groups in Sandosi Village?. The goal to be achieved is to evaluate the economic empowerment program through the establishment of a ikat weaving group in Sandosi Village. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data sources used in this study are promer data and secondary data. From the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of community economic empowerment programs in Sandosi Village through the formation of weaving groups, judging from the indicators of effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, and responsiveness is still lacking or not maximized, this can be seen from the income obtained today can only meet additional needs in the family, as well as the low level of community participation, especially the younger generation in tie weaving activities. Based on the results of research and data analysis and conclusions, it is recommended for members of the weaving group to be more enthusiastic in producing woven fabrics and for the community to be more enthusiastic to participate in this economic empowerment program, especially the younger generation who are considered less enthusiastic in tie weaving activities, therefore, the government must be more active in communicating and coordinating with the community who should be the target of this community economic empowerment program. And to help increase the existence of weaving groups, the government should use social media as a means of promotion and marketing so that this weaving business can grow widely.
