Abstract
The thesis entitled "The Influence of Employee Placement, Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance at Region XV Higher Education Service Institutions with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable", written by Ros Hayati Rosna NIM (811211048), and supervised by P. Dr. Philipus Tule, SVD and Dr. Henny A Manafe, SE., MM. The purpose of this research is to find out; 1) Description of respondents related to Employee Performance, Job Satisfaction, Employee Placement, Work Motivation and Work Environment at Higher Education Service Institutions Region XV. 2) The Significance of the Effect of Employee Placement, Work Motivation and Work Environment on Job Satisfaction. 3) Significance of the Effect of Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance. 4) The Significance of Job Satisfaction in mediating Employee Placement, Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance.The sampling technique was carried out by means of a census of 57 employee respondents at the Region XV Higher Education Service Institution. This type of research is included in the type of quantitative research, the type of data used is primary and secondary data, the data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that the description of Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance at Region XV Higher Education Service Institutions is good. The results of inferential statistical analysis show; 1) Employee Placement, Work Motivation and Work Environment have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. 2) Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction have a significant effect on Employee Performance. 3) Job Satisfaction partially mediates the influence of Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment on Employee Performance at Region XV Higher Education Service Institutions. The contribution of Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment to Employee Job Satisfaction is 88.1%; while the rest is influenced by variables that are not included in this model. The contribution of Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction of 93.8% to the remaining Employee Performance is influenced by variables that are not included in this model. It is suggested to Region XV Higher Education Service Institutions to maintain and if possible increase Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance by paying attention to Employee Placement, Work Motivation, Work Environment in Region XV Higher Education Service Institutions. Researchers who will examine theRegion XV Higher Education Service Institutions may choose different from the variables that researchers have done for the advancement of Region XV Higher Education Service Institutions.
