Abstract

The production of chickpeas in the Dabalulik Farmer Group of Kabuna Village was less stable during the 2017-2021 period. This is caused by various diseases that often attack chickpea plants, namely Wilt, Leaf Spot, Soft Rot, Rust, Curly Tips.From the existing problems, the idea emerged to create an application for an expert system for diagnosing chickpea plants in the Dabalulik Farmer Group of Kabuna Village based on the web that can help farmers diagnose diseases in chickpea plants. The method used is the Forward Chaining method, this method can work to get solutions that follow the facts. The application is built using PHP programming language and MySql Database. The resulting expert system application can help farmers diagnose diseases in chickpea plants and provide information about diseases and symptoms in chickpeas to avoid disease without having to wait for experts to arrive. This web-based consultation application is able to diagnose diseases in chickpeas and provide solutions to deal with diseases that often occur in chickpea plants which in turn can reduce diseases in chickpea plants that often occur in the Dabalulik Farmer Group of Kabuna Village.
