Abstract

This study is based on the main problem that is how the application of cooperatif learning probing prompting type to increase students result of learning of in integer subjects class VII SMPK PLUS KASIMO in the school year 2011/2012. The number of the subject was 36 students. In gathering the data, the writer applied observation method, test,students’ responses and interview to the mathematics teacher which was done in the to cycles. Obsevation consists of students, activities observation, and teacher’s activities during the process of teaching and learning in every cycles. Mean while test was done at the end of every cycle. Method of data analysis applied in this study was descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the study show that through the application of probing prompting learning model, students’abilities in comprehending integer subject increased in which there was increase of students’ result of learning from cycle I the precentage of classical mastery 52,7% increases, it is 86% in cycle II. Students’responses to laerning was possitive and generally teachear are able to manage the class. Based on the result of the study,the writer concluded that the application of learning model probing prompting type can increase students mathematics achievement especially integer subject in class VII A at semester I in the school year 2011/2012. From the conclusion above then the writer suggested to mathematics teachears to modify the teaching and learning process so that it can increase students interest of learning. The writer suggested that teachers can appy probing prompting model of learning in theching mathematics
