Abstract

This research is entitled The Influence of Candidate Programs and Identification of Political Parties on Rational Voters in Aesesa District in the 2019 Election. The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is whether there is an effect of the relationship between the candidate program on rational voters in Aesesa District in the 2019 Election and Is there an influence on the relationship between political identification on rational voters in Aesesa District in the 2019 Election. The theory used by researchers in solving research problems is a rational approach, political identification and work programs. the research used is quantitative research methods with multistage random sampling technique, with primary data collection methods using surveys and analysis of documents and literature for secondary data The results showed that (1) Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination, the Adjusted R Square was 0.402 or 40.2%. This value indicates that Rational Voters are influenced by the Work Program Variable (X1) of 40.2%, the remaining 59.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. (2) Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination, the Adjusted R Square is 0.472 or 47.2%. This value shows that Rational Voters are influenced by the Political Party Identification Variable (X2) of 47.2%, the remaining 52.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. (3) Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination, the Adjusted R Square is 0.510 or 51%. This value shows that Rational Voters are influenced by Work Program Variables (X1), Political Party Identification (X2) of 51%, the remaining 49% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on the results of the analysis above, the authors conclude that the Candidate Program and Identification of Political Parties have an effect on Rational Voters in Aesesa District in the 2019 Election
