Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the Tourism Development of Uinian Beach in Uiboa Village, South Semau District with the aim of research to determine Uinian Beach Tourism Development in Uiboa Village, South Semau District, Kupang regency. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The data sources in this study were primary data sources and secondary data obtained using data collection techniques from interviews, documentation and observation and then analyzed using data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that (1) Tourism Potential Development through Accessibility; (a) the available means of sea transportation are ferries and boats, (b) the construction and improvement of land roads are inadequate, the roads are damaged and not yet paved, (c) there is no travel agency to get to coastal tourism objects Uinian. (2) Development of Tourism Potential through Construction and Development of Facilities; (a) there are no hotels or inns available at the Uinian beach tourist spot, (b) there are no restaurants and only small stalls located at the Uinian beach tourist attraction. Based on the research results, the authors recommend that the Regional Government of Kupang Regency and Uinian Village Government need to develop facilities and infrastructure so that accessibility to the Unian Beach tourist attraction in Uiboa Village, Kupang Regency provides convenience, comfort and security for visitors who come to tourist objects such as infrastructure good roads, travel service agencies, hotels/inns and restaurants for visiting tourists.
