Abstract

This thesis is entitled Democration Leadership Style of Village Heads in Bone Village, Central Amanuban District, South Central Timor District. Thef ormulation of the problem in writing this thesis is How is the village Head’s n Leadership Style in Village, Central Amanuban District, South Central Timor Regency.This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Primary data sources were taken from interviews with respondents while secondary data sources were obtained through documents related to research variables. Data collection techniques used are through interviews, observation, and documentation. The stages of data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that (1) In Bone Village itself, especially during the leadership of the Village Head Mr. Nyongki A. Nenobais who led democratically by involving the community in the administration of village governance starting from planning, implementing, solving a problem through joint deliberations, establishing good partnerships with the BPD in making village regulations, and also in planning the APBDes. (2) Head of Bone Village always cooperates with his subordinates in all of his activities. The form of cooperation between the Head of Bone Village and his subordinates is by collaborating with the community and establishing good partnerships with the BPD in making village regulations, and in planning the village budge. (3) Being open in leading and accepting criticism and suggestions is carried out by the Bone Village Head with every meeting or outreach about the village, the village head listens to criticism and suggestions with the aim of building the village. Based on the results of the analysis above, the authors conclude that the democratic leadership style adopted by the Head of Bone Village is through decision-making with the community through deliberations, the Head of Bone Village always cooperates with his subordinates, and is always open in leading.
