Abstract

Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara is one of the cities that is planned to hold the 22nd National Sports Week in 2028. One of the sports that will be held in this National Sports Week is water sports so that the City of Kupang requires a building that can support these activities, namely in the form of an Aquatic Center building with a type of swimming pool for the implementation of the National Sports Week is type A. In addition to being used for the National Sports Week, the Aquatic Center building will also be used to accommodate athletes in East Nusa Tenggara in the development and training program in swimming that is more optimal and competitive. The planning and design of this Aquatic Center uses the Futuristic Architecture approach, which has 8 principles in it. One of the principles related to this Aquatic Center is that it has a free form, tends to be dynamic with the use of oblique lines and ellipses where this sport also uses dynamic elements in swimming equipment and also has a dynamic form in the main element, namely water.
