Abstract

This research is entitled Contribution of Oebobo Market Levy to Kupang City's PAD in 2020-2021. The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is how is the contribution of the Oebobo Market Levy to the Kupang City PAD in 2020-2021 and what is the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the Oebobo Market Levy to the Kupang City PAD in 2020-2021. The theory used by researchers in solving research problems is Autonomy Regional and Local Own Revenue, Regional Retribution and Market Retribution as well as Market Levy Contribution to Regional Original Revenue. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Primary data sources are qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stage was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing stage and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that (1). The contribution of the Oebobo market levy to local revenue is very low. The contribution of the Oebobo Market Levy to Kupang City's Local Original Revenue (PAD) on average from 2020-2021 is 0.8%. (2) the effectiveness of receiving the Oebobo Market Levies has been very effective, this is indicated by the level of effectiveness of receiving Market Levies from 2020-2021 which has an average of 100.57%. The efficiency of receiving the Oebobo Market Retribution in 2020 is less efficient, this is indicated by the efficiency level of receiving Market Retribution from 2020-2021 which has an average of 66.3%. Based on the results of the discussion on the Oebobo Market Levy Contribution to Kupang City's PAD for 2020-2021 the author concludes that the Oebobo Market Levy's contribution to Kupang City's own-source revenue (PAD) in 2020 is very lacking. This is shown by the contribution of only 0.8%.
