Abstract

The research entitled The Influence of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at the Land Transportation Management Center Region XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province Mediated by Work Motivation and Discipline was written by Jermias Meda NIM 811211022 and supervised by Dr. Simon Sia Niha, S.E, M.Si and Anggraeny Paridy, SE, M.Si. This research aims to: (1) Find out employee perceptions about employee performance, work motivation, work discipline, leadership and organizational culture at the Land Transportation Management Center Region XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province, (2) Find out the significant influence of the variables Leadership, Organizational Culture and Motivation Work and Work Discipline as mediating variables on Employee Performance as dependent variables, (3) Know whether leadership and organizational culture variables have a significant effect on work motivation and work discipline variables as mediating variables, (4) Know whether Work Motivation and Work Discipline variables are able to mediate The influence of Leadership and Organizational Culture variables on Employee Performance. The sample in this study was 68 employees at the Land Transportation Management Center Region XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province. This type of research is quantitative research, the types of data used are primary data and secondary data, the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of descriptive statistical analysis show that the description of leadership is good, while the description of organizational culture, work motivation, work discipline and performance is very good. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that (1) leadership and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance, while organizational culture and work discipline do not have a significant effect on employee performance, (2) leadership and organizational culture have a significant effect on work motivation and work discipline, (3) Work motivation is able to mediate the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance, while work discipline is unable to mediate the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance. The contribution of leadership, organizational culture, work motivation and work discipline to employee performance is 95.0%, while the remainder is influenced by other variables not included in this research. It is recommended to the management of the Land Transportation Management Center Region XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province to maintain and if possible improve employee performance by paying attention to leadership, organizational culture and work motivation. Researchers who will conduct research at the Land Transportation Management Center Region XIII East Nusa Tenggara can chose other variables, which are different from those above for the development of the Land Transportation Management Center Region XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province Keywords: Leadership, Organizational Culture, Employee Performance Work Motivation and Work Discipline
