Abstract

Chicken farming is a crucial sector in providing food and industrial raw materials to face challenges related to selecting cage locations, climate and security. To overcome this problem, this research applies Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), Internet of Things (IoT) technology, and the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. WSN enables real-time data collection, while IoT improves device connectivity and control. The MQTT protocol facilitates efficient data exchange. MEVN web application development (MongoDB, Express.js, Vue.js, Node.js) helps with feed management, temperature monitoring and farm security. The integration of Twilio services and Telegram bots provides notifications and transmits live images when suspicious movement is detected. The research results show that the application of the technologies used can overcome security challenges and increase the productivity of chicken farms.
