Abstract

The blood supply in a hospital is sometimes uncertain, so it is very necessary to have sufficient blood stock in a blood bank, so that if it is needed at any time, blood stock is available. However, in reality, blood stock supplies are often unstable, resulting in a shortage of blood stock at a blood bank. With data mining, it is hoped that we will be able to predict existing donor data at the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) to predict potential blood donors who have the potential to become permanent donors. In this process, the method used to carry out data mining is using the C4.5 algorithm. So from the results of the analysis carried out, it can be seen that the data used is 500 random data, where the training data is 400 data and the testing data is 100 data. The results of the application show that donor data can still be known through the calculation process using the C4.5 decision tree method. This application was developed using PHP and MySQL database to implement the model.
