Abstract

Transportation is the movement of people, vehicles and goods between one place and another using a transportation network. The transportation sector that has had the greatest impact on improving people's living standards is land transportation, especially roads. Roads are transportation infrastructure that has the greatest influence on the social and economic development of society. The main function of roads is infrastructure to serve the movement of people and goods safely, comfortably, quickly and economically. The intersection studied is the intersection of delays and queuing opportunities located in the Oebobo sub-district, Kupang City. Based on its function classification, the road is a collector road. where the intersection is the meeting point between Jalan R.W Monginsidi III - Jalan Shopping Center. After observing, this intersection experiences high peak traffic flows, namely in the morning and afternoon. Based on the situation, the intersection needs serious planning so that traffic flow is not disrupted and road users passing through the intersection can move properly, so as not to cause traffic jams and accidents. Currently experiencing quite rapid development, so it is necessary to evaluate the intersection. Problems that can arise on the R.W Monginsidi III-Shopping Center road include the absence of traffic signs, making it prone to accidents and traffic jams.
