Abstract
The Construction Procces involves a complex set of construction activities, and the succes of a project is higly dependent on effective time management. The succes of the project is not only measured by the physical quality of the building structure itself, but also from what extent the project can be completed according to a predetermined schedule. The Construction of flood control infrastructure for the noelmina river is a project carried out by P.T Karya Utama Kontraktor, the project is planned to last for 210 day, with contract value of Rp. 3.244.000.000. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the performance of the project implementation, variance of implementation and completion time. The concept of Earned Value is a Project control method that combines elements of cost and time of the project. The method is used to analyze implementation performance based on planning and implementation data (based on Time Schedule), as well making an estimate of the project completion time. The results of the project analisys with The Earned Value Method show that both of the Schedule Variance and Schedule Performanced Index have the same delay time, namely in the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th week. Other than this week, the work is faster than the planned. The Completion time to complete the project is still according to the planned, or not having a delay, but at the realization the project has been complete in week of 20th or earlier than the planned. This is greatly influenced by productifity and the number of work item carried out, so the more production, the more volume of the work completed, the more the work achieved so that the work is faster than planned. Work becomes late cause of the low of productivity and the amount of work done is less, so production is small then the volume done will be low resulting in delays due to the less weight of the work.
