Abstract

Kupang City is one of the cities where many residents raise goats. The Department of Agriculture for Animal Husbandry noted that as many as 203 households in Kupang City raised goats. In breeding goats, there are diseases that attack goats, including: diarrhea or loose stools, poisoning, bloating, worms, scabies, lice, mouth and hoof pH, and pink eye (eye disease). ). Factors that cause goat livestock to suffer from disease are depression, depression that occurs due to overcrowding, dirty pen conditions, poor feeding, as well as the farmers' lack of understanding regarding the diseases experienced by their livestock, as well as expensive medical treatment which adds to the burden. breeders. From the problems that occurred, the idea emerged to create a Web-Based Expert System Application to diagnose goat livestock diseases. The methodology used is the forward chaining method, where this method carries out a forward search by looking for existing facts, so that this method can diagnose disease based on the symptoms entered. This application uses the PHP programming language and the database is MySql. Testing of applications built on this system can provide solutions to diseases entered by the user during consultations, the system will issue solutions to diseases that are input into the system, so that testing on this system is said to be successful.
