Abstract

Stefanus Paulus Ratu Ludji ( 811211) "The Influence of Education Expenditures, Health Expenditures and Infrastructure Expenditures on the Human Development Index in 22 Regencies/Cities in East Nusa Tenggara" under the guidance of Dr. ME Perseveranda, SE, M. Si and Dr. Stanis Man, SE, M.Sc The aim of this research is to find out: 1) Description of Education Expenditure, Health Expenditure, Infrastructure Expenditure on the Human Development Index in 22 Regencies/Cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province. 2) Significance of the partial influence of education spending, health spending and infrastructure spending on the Human Development Index. 3) the significance of the influence of Education Expenditure, Health Expenditure and Infrastructure Expenditure simultaneously on the Human Development Index. This research uses quantitative methods, the sample used in this research is 22 Regencies/Cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province using the Regional Government Income and Expenditure Realization Report used from 2018-2022. Data was collected using documentation and analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistics using the Eviews 9 application. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the 22 regencies/cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province in this study have met the criteria in this study, because all expenditure realization report data has passed the classic normality assumption test, where the test results show that all data is normally distributed, in the classical assumption test of multicollinearity the test results also show that all the data in this research model does not experience multicollinearity problems, likewise with the classic assumption test of heteroscedasticity the test results show that all research data does not experience heteroscedasticity problems, and in the classical assumption test of autocorrelation the test results show that All data in this study did not occur autocorrelation. The results of the inferential analysis simultaneously show that Education Expenditure, Health Expenditure and Infrastructure Expenditure have a significant effect on the Human Development Index, while partially Education Expenditure has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index, Health Expenditure has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index, Infrastructure Spending has an effect negative and significant on the Human Development Index . The R Square value shows that the contribution of Education Expenditure, Health Expenditure and Infrastructure Expenditure to the Human Development Index is 98.4%, while the remaining 1.6% is influenced by other variables outside the model studied.
