Abstract

Jigsaw cooperative learning model allows learners have many opportunities to express opinions, to manage the information obtained. The special feature of Jigsaw cooperative learning model is to have a home group and expert groups. The main problem in this research is how the influence of learning styles on learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA II SMAN 7 Kupang to implement cooperative learning model Jigsaw on thermodynamics matter?. In detail the problems in this study are 1) how is the teacher's ability to implement cooperative learning model Jigsaw in class XI IPA II SMAN 7 Kupang on thermodynamics matter?; 2) how mastery learning outcome indicators that apply cooperative learning model Jigsaw in class XI IPA II SMAN 7 Kupang on thermodynamics matter?; 3) how the mastery of learning outcomes implement cooperative learning model Jigsaw in class XI IPA II SMAN 7 Kupang on thermodynamics matter?; 4) whether there is significant relationship between learning styles on the learning outcomes of students keelas II XI IPA SMAN 7 Kupang on the material thermodynamics through the implementation of cooperative learning model Jigsaw? This study aims to determine the result of the influence of learning styles on learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model Jigsaw. Specifically the purpose of this research are: 1) To describe the ability of teachers to implement cooperative learning in class XI IPA Jigsaw II SMAN 7 Kupang on the matter Thermodynamics; 2) Describe the completeness indicator learning outcomes of students by implementing Jigsaw cooperative learning model in the subject matter of thermodynamics; 3) Describe the thoroughness of the study of students by implementing Jigsaw cooperative learning model in the subject matter of thermodynamics; 4) the effect of learning styles on learning outcomes by implementing Jigsaw cooperative learning model in the subject matter of thermodynamics. This type of research is descriptive and associative research. The population and the sample is pesertad students II Class XI IPA at SMAN 7 Kupang totaling 31 learners. Descriptive research design used is the One-group pretest-posttest design. And research design inferensialnya is XY. Collecting data in this study using the method of observation, tests and questionnaires. The instrument used in this study is to test the learning outcomes, assessment sheets affective and psychomotor aspects, as well as learning style questionnaire. The results showed that the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model can be applied to the subject matter of thermodynamics learners II class XI IPA at SMAN 7 Kupang to obtain optimal learning results and there is a significant relationship between learning styles on cognitive learning outcomes of students. In particular, the results show that: 1) The ability of teachers to manage learning that includes lesson plans, learning implementation, and evaluation of learning by applying cooperative learning model Jigsaw learners II class XI IPA at SMAN 7 kupang is good; 2) Indicators learning outcomes of students who prepared everything thoroughly in learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model Jigsaw learners II class XI IPA at SMAN 7 Kupang; 3) The results of learners in the learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model Jigsaw learners II class XI IPA at SMAN 7 Kupang is complete; 4) There is a significant relationship between learning styles on learning outcomes, seen from value of Fhitung F tabel; 24,474 4,18. F count by using SPSS.
