Abstract

Paan Waru Village, South Elar District, East Manggarai Regency has an area of 846.2 hectares. This large area is not yet supported by a good geographic information system. Inadequate geographic information systems can cause problems in presenting information about residential areas, public buildings, agricultural land, coffee plantation areas, cocoa plantation areas, candlenut plantation areas and tourism potential. Therefore, an information system is needed that helps inform the geographical situation of Paan Waru Village. The aim of this research is to create a geographic information system application for mapping village areas based on a website that contains geographical data and information on Paan Waru Village. In building this website, the waterfall method was used, a model that provides a sequential software life flow approach starting from the stages of analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. The result of this research is a geographic information system for mapping the Paan Waru Village area.
