Abstract

The sub-district grouping based on fruit production in West Manggarai Regency has never been carried out. The problem in this study is that the Agriculture Office in West Manggarai Regency has not grouped sub-districts based on the results of fruit production clusters. The purpose of this study is to build a sub-district grouping system based on fruit production in West Manggarai Regency. The method used in this grouping uses the K-Means method. The fruit data used were mango, banana, orange, durian and pepay and grouped into 3 clusters, namely low, medium and high clusters. Data is taken from the central statistics agency in the district in West Manggarai from 2019-2022. The results of the claster show that from sub-districts that include low, medium, and high clasters. The system development method uses the water fall method. Based on the results of citrus fruit research in 2019, there are eight sub-districts that include low-production clusters (C1), for medium production levels (C2), three sub-districts, and sub-districts that include high production (C3), there is one sub-district. For banana production in 2019, sub-districts that include low clusters (C1) are seven sub-districts, for medium production cluster sub-districts (C2) there are four sub-districts and for sub-districts that include high clusters (C3), there are one sub-district. For mango production in 2019 sub-districts including low cluster (C1) are five sub-districts, for medium cluster production (C2) are three sub-districts and sub-districts including high cluster (C3) are three sub-districts. For durian production in 2019 sub-districts including low cluster (C1) are six sub-districts, for medium cluster production (C2) are five sub-districts, for sub-districts including high cluster (C3) which is one sub-district. For papaya production in 2019, sub-districts including low clusters (C1) are three sub-districts, for medium production (C2) are seven sub-districts, and sub-districts including high clusters (C3) are one sub-district. Based on the results of system testing, it shows that the K-means method can be applied to the sub-district classification system based on fruit production results so that it can group sub-districts based on the level of fruit production in West Manggarai Regency.
