Abstract

This research is entitled "THE ROLE OF THE VILLAGE CONSULTATIVE BODY (BPD) IN ACCOMMODATING AND CHANNELING THE ASPIRATIONS OF THE COMMUNITY IN SPRING VILLAGE, CENTRAL KUPANG DISTRICT,KUPANG REGENCY." The Village Agency must be able to be a means for the people to channel their aspirations for the implementation of the development. Then pour out the aspirations of the community in the form of regulations made by the BPD, and the BPD coordinates with the Village Head. And what is more important is that there must be control from the BPD over the implementation of the development. This control, of course, must not be separated from the corridor of public interests. The methods used in the findings of this study are as follows: (1) Discussion with the community in Village Development Planning (a)Discussion about community needs, related to information disclosure in development planning will give birth to program innovation needed by the community. (2) One of the options to include the community's wishes is to open a box to the community's proposals or aspirations (a) Respond to the community's suggestions, related to the aspirations of the community that are written and then entered into the suggestion box, and how effective the suggestion is so that it can reach the village government. (3) Management and Distribution of Community Aspirations. (a) To determine if the goals achieved are in line with expectations, it is important to achieve ambitions related to community involvement in monitoring and assessing development programs and activities. (4) Meetings are open to the public. (a) The open meeting is intended so that the village development planning process is a process in building the village, the open meeting for the public that is the BPD discussed the BPD meeting every year, the schedule of course is made related to development planning.
